Giving Birth Via Bellybutton

Ok, so I will be the first to admit that I don't exactly watch kid friendly shows while my children are around. "Mom, are you watching Rock of Love?" is a common question in my house.
But my excuse is the kids are playing and they aren't paying ANY attention to what I am watching. Well, leave it to my sweet three year old to prove me wrong!
My new favorite show is 16 and Pregnant on MTV which, if you haven't seen it, is like Baby Story on TLC but for kids in highschool who didn't wrap it up. Hannah likes this show. She is in love with babies. It's understandable.
The other day she lined up our dining room chairs like a bed, she then lied down and started grunting. I then made the mistake of asking what she was doing. "I just pushed my baby brother out of my belly button!" Ok. No more adult television for you little one!

My Brother Is My Husband

No, I am not talking about myself and Josh. Nor am I talking about any form of incest. Get your mind out of the gutter. Hannah desperately wants a brother. She asks for him, she talks about him all the time, she even has a name for him. Cinda. As in Cinderella. What a manly name. And every so often, I hear her playing with her brother. They play shopping, dollhouse, coloring - She LOVES to color pictures of her brother. One day while her and her "brother" were playing together so well (nicer than I could ever dream of her playing with her real live sister Leslie) I decided I would inquire about this brother that I have no recollection of giving birth to. "Hannah, can I play with you and your brother?" I ask. "Umm, no." was the response I received. "Where did your brother come from, Hannah?" I inquired, "My brother is my HUSBAND" was the response I was given with a typical Hannah eye roll. Because, I obviously am an IDIOT for not knowing that Cinda, Hannah's brother is her husband. Jeez. Moms totally don't know anything.

God Is So Good

Ok, so I have been a complete slacker "mommy blogger" here lately, but I will try to stay on track. I promise. Here is an amazing video (sideways, but you get the picture) of sweet Hannah singing a song (which I am assuming she made up) called God Is So Good. Be sure to watch for the big finish where she falls off of the chair at the end. Enjoy!
