Baby Leslie

Just because she is so pretty, here are some pictures! You're welcome.

First Haircut!

I finally, after 2 and a half years, let Hannah get her haircut. Well, more like a trim. She had very long hair to the middle of her back, but it wasn't shaped and it looked kind of stringy. I was just sad because I thought she was going to lose all of her pretty curls. Anywho, I just got the uneven parts trimmed up and her curls are more bouncy than ever. Super cute.

Our Friend Wyatt

Hannah has met her future husband. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating a little. But they are really cute together. His name is Wyatt and Ben and I are friends with his parents. He's about 6 months older than Hannah and they have so much fun together. The best part is that Hannah can be as rough as she likes to be and he thinks that it's hilarious.
A couple of weeks ago Brooke (Wyatt's Mommy) and I took the kids to the park and let them play in the fountain. They had an awesome time and they were sad when they had to leave.

Oh, to accessorize and what not...

Hannah is to the age now where she wants to dress herself. And accessorize. And have lipstick on. Although this is very entertaining, it also has the potential to be very embarrassing.

Leslie is crawling!

My little genius! The day before she turned 6 months old she started crawling for her grammy Dianne!

My baby is getting married!

Not really. Wedding is just Hannah's favorite thing to play. She is adorable. She walks around and gathers things in her purse such as lotions, fake food, make up, etc. and says she is getting married. She was doing this the other night, so I asked if she would like a wedding dress. Of course this started more chaos and excitement then I could have imagined. So, we got out one of my old Halloween costumes and put it on Hannah. She walked around telling the dog, her dad, her baby sister, and anything else in the house that would listen that she was getting married. And then she proceeded to spray her face with a spray bottle filled with water, because this is obviously how you prepare for your wedding.

Back on track!

I am a complete slacker. I am a procrastinator as well. I use the excuse of being a busy mom of 2 for not getting things done. Really, before I had 2 kids, I was the same way. Today I am making a vow to myself to be on track. I will blog more often about how cute and sweet and amazing my children are. I will do the house work before I watch TV. I am going to be better on my diet. Today I am more focused, driven, and a new, more responsible Amber! I'm inspiring right?

Cute Kid Contest

The photography studio in Independence is having a Cute Kid Contest. The theme is Bugs, Butterflies, and Flowers. I entered Hannah and Leslie. I dressed Hannah up as a fairy (precious) and put Leslie in a white dress with tulips (precious again). Check out the pictures at http://www.ckphotography.net/. Click on Client Proofs at the bottom and in the middle drop down list on the next page find Hannah and Leslie. Let me know what you think.

Going To The Park

We went to the park yesterday. Hannah had a blast and Leslie really seemed to enjoy looking around at everything.

Sick Kids

Hannah was really cranky when we left my parents house last night, so when we got home I decided to put her to bed. She was really fussy in her room, but I thought she just wanted out of bed, and then she started yelling "puched!" Well, she threw up all over herself again! This is her 2nd time in a week being sick :( I put her in the bath, changed her sheets and put her back to bed. She was fine after that, but it was so sad.

And then... I was laying in my bed with Leslie trying to get her to sleep and she puked all over me!!! Arghh!!! When am I going to have 2 healthy kids!?

Back To Work

Today is my second day back to work FULL TIME! I really miss the girls (and Ben) when I am gone, but I feel like work is the only sane, adult time I get away from them. So it is a nice break sometimes. Yesterday was really difficult coming back to work after lunch was over. Hannah didn't want me to leave, so that was sad, but she didn't cry! It will get easier, I'm sure.
